The problem
The owner had a working business and a builder-template site that wasn't converting. The site was loud, the photos were generic, and the booking flow was buried under three menus.
What I built
A single-column site that does one thing: convert a visitor into a booking. Hero, a strip of before/after photos that load instantly, packages priced clearly, and a booking form that asks for the minimum it can. Everything else — the about page, the testimonials — sits below the fold for the people who want to scroll.
How I built it
Next.js with the App Router, Tailwind for the styles, Vercel for the deploy. Images optimized aggressively — the LCP is a hero photo that lands in under a second on 4G. The booking form posts to a serverless function that texts the owner directly; no inbox to check, no CRM to maintain.
What I learned
Marketing sites for small businesses are usually too much site, not too little. The site doesn't have to be impressive — it has to get out of the way.
